About Us: Community Involvement![]() LaRosa Building Group has a long tradition of community involvement that includes monetary and service donations to many local non-profit organizations. A main priority of LBG community focus is on organizations that promote the health, welfare, and success of children and families with children. These organizations include The Connecticut Children's Medical Center, The Village for Families and Children, Inc., The Autism Society of Connecticut, and many local children's sports programs and other non-profit organizations. The Connecticut Children's Medical Center is the only medical center in Connecticut that is completely focused on caring for children. The CCMC has a medical center campus for the University of Connecticut pediatrics program, a health clinic, an emergency room, a surgical unit, an intensive care unit, and a neonatal intensive care unit. Robert, Carmela, and James LaRosa are all on the board of directors for the Hartford Ferrari Concorso fundraiser that benefits the Connecticut Children's Medical Center and other children's charities. These services focus on "strengths to achieve success". The Autism Society of Connecticut serves as a statewide autism resource, provides grants to families that may need financial assistance, and raises awareness of autism. The Bradley Home - Meriden, CT offers unique residential care for people over sixty-five. The Bradley Home was founded on the ideals and resources left in the will of Clarence Bradley over eighty years ago. Mr. Bradley believed that every senior citizen, including those unable to save for their own retirement, should be entitled to live out their golden years with comfort, dignity and peace of mind in a quality rest home. Robert N. LaRosa serves on the board of directors for the Bradley Home.
